She undertook a pre-registration pharmacist year at Merck, Sharpe and Dohme (MSD) split with Guy’s and St. Thomas’ Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. In 2016, Sarah successfully registered as a pharmacist and began working as a Senior Formulation Scientist at FabRx Ltd. (a spin-out company from University College London) specialising in the development of 3D printed medicines and medical devices.

They are both responsible for everything at Swiss Post that delivers in an autonomous way like drones, delivery robots or indoor robots. Making innovations fly is a hard job and the up’s and down’s weld together. That’s probably why their teammates often call them “the autonomous twins”.

Manfredo is senior researcher at the Institute of Information Systems of the University of Applied Sciences Western Switzerland (HES-SO Valais), where he has been since 2011. He received a M.Sc. in Physics and his Ph.D. in Bioengineering from the University of Padova in 2006 and 2009. His research interests consist in the application of machine learning algorithms to biomedical data in order to study the human sensory and motor system and to develop assistive and rehabilitative techniques. Dr. Atzori has experience in developing scientific projects with academic research groups and companies and has several national and international collaborations. He is author of numerous scientific publications in peer reviewed scientific journals and presented his work at several international conferences.

Ahmed is the founder and CEO of Digipharm, a digital health startup that is developing revolutionary platforms that aim to eliminate barriers to innovative pricing solutions, transform current evidence generation practices and enable patient empowerment. Prior to Digipharm, Ahmed worked as a Global health economist within the Global Pricing & Market Access division at Hoffmann La-Roche. He has prior experience working at an Evidence Review Group in the UK as a health economist. Prior to his foray into health economics, he has held roles across the pharmaceutical pipeline including early drug development, clinical data management and wholesale pharmaceutical pricing.

He co-founded the Institut de Radiologie de l’Ouest-lausannois and is a member of the general management of the Delta Vaud Network and of the steering committee of the Forum Managed Care Switzerland.

Professor Schoettker specializes in anesthesia and emergency medicine at the CHUV (Lausanne – Switzerland). He works closely with the CSEM Institute to develop and validate new innovative medical technologies.

Alevtina is a Research Assistant in the Applied Intelligent Systems Lab (AISLab) at HES-SO working under the supervision of Prof Dr M. Schumacher. She is also an external PhD candidate at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) in Distributed Information Systems Laboratory. Her PhD thesis focuses on building systems and protocols for privacy-preserving data exchange and aggregation, with an application to the healthcare domain. Her research interests are blockchain, eHealth, privacy, and distributed Systems. Alevtina has been awarded with the Best Paper Award for the paper on application of blockchain technology in healthcare at the Swiss eHealth Summit 2017.
