Dre Monique Lehky HagenPresident of the Valais Medical Society (SMVS), Switzerland As President of the Valais Medical Society, Dre Monique Lehky Hagen has been actively involved at the political and tariff level since 2013 to improve the framework conditions for the maintenance and the succession of independent doctors in Valais and in Switzerland. She is convinced of the importance of defending a liberal and entrepreneurial medicine as a counterweight to the increasing centralization of the different health care structures. She is highly committed to the respect of the basic principles of medical ethics and medical secrecy while defending the freedom of choice and a flexible medicine, close to the patients while optimizing the networking of the existing resources.
